How to generate a new Swiftia API key

1 min read

API keys allow you to integrate Swiftia’s video generation capabilities directly into your own applications or workflows. This guide explains how to generate a new key and secure your credentials.

Quick Steps #

  • Navigate to Organization settings at the bottom of the left sidebar.
  • Select the API Keys tab from the menu.
  • Under the “Create New API Key” section, enter a descriptive name for your key (e.g., Production App or Testing).
  • Click the Create API Key button.
  • Important: Click Copy API Key in the confirmation popup immediately.

Important Security Warning #

Do not skip this step:
For security reasons, your API key is only displayed once. Once you close the confirmation popup, you cannot view the key again. If you lose it, you will need to delete the key and generate a new one.

Managing Existing Keys #

You can view a list of all active keys in the “Your API Keys” section on the same page.

  • Reference ID: Use this to identify which key is being used in your logs.
  • Revoke/Delete: If a key is compromised, click the trash icon next to the key to disable it immediately.
