While Swiftia allows you to paste YouTube links, you can also upload raw video files directly from your computer. This is ideal for editing podcasts, interviews, or raw footage that hasn’t been published yet.
Quick Steps #
- From the dashboard, click Generate Shorts in the left sidebar.
- Click the New Generation button in the top right corner.
- By default, the “YouTube URL” option is selected. Click the Upload File button on the right side to switch modes.
- Upload: In the pop-up window, make sure you are on the Upload tab. Drag and drop your file or click Select Files to choose a video from your computer.
- Wait for the progress bar to hit 100% and show “Upload Complete.”
Starting the Generation #
Note: Once the upload finishes, the window does not automatically close. You must manually select the file to proceed.
- Inside the pop-up, switch back to the Files tab (to the left of the Upload tab).
- Locate your recently uploaded video in the list and click it to select it.
- Click Confirm Selection at the bottom right to begin analyzing the video.
